Dr. Charnon is a dedicated academic researcher with a deep interest in all facets of software engineering. His areas of expertise include information security, personal data protection, and identity and access management. He is also an active member of communities that leverage formal methods such as formal specification, formal verification, model checking, and static program analysis.

In addition to his foundational knowledge, Dr. Charnon is passionate about emerging technologies, including blockchain, Bitcoin, decentralized and self-sovereign identity, consensus mechanisms, and other decentralized technologies.
